High Load Capacity Cylindrical Roller Bearing Structure And Characteristics Of Use

It is very difficult to maintain the speed accelerating engine of wind turbine installed at high height, so the life and reliability of the speed accelerating engine bearing are very high.In recent years, the wind turbine is becoming larger and larger. In order to reduce the load of the tower, it is attempted to make the generator cabin small and light. Therefore, the demand for small and high load capacity bearings is further increased.

In order to meet this demand, the cylindrical roller bearing with high load capacity developed (as shown in Fig. 1) adopts the rolling body spacer to replace the cage, so it does not destroy the rotation performance and increases the load capacity, and its rated life reaches more than 1.5 times of the original product.

Structure and characteristics of high load capacity cylindrical roller bearings:

The new product has a resin ring between the rollers, which prevents them from touching each other.And on the separate rings, because the tension produced by the clutch and aggregation of the rollers does not work, the thickness can be changed, so the size and number of rollers can be increased.(as shown in figure 2)

Through the performance comparison between the new product and the original product, the new product's high-load capacity cylindrical roller bearing has the following advantages:

1, long life

The size and number of rollers reach the best, so that the load capacity is increased, the rated life of the bearing is more than 1.5 times of the rated life of the original size of the same bearing with cage.

2. Acceleration

It is better to optimize the shape and guide method of the spacer to prevent the roller from contacting each other in the fully loaded roller bearing, and realize the same allowable rotation speed and abrasion resistance as the bearing with the cage.

3. Operation

Even if the inner ring is removed without the roller falling off, the inner and outer ring components can be installed separately for easier installation on the machine.
