Spherical Roller Thrust Bearings
Spherical roller thrust bearings also called spherical thrust roller bearings have specially designed raceways and barrel-shaped rollers (convex rollers). The raceway of housing washer of this bearing type is spherical with the center of the radius located on the bearing axis. Spherical roller thrust bearings are separable design, making it possible to mount and dismount the housing washer separately from the shaft washer and roller and cage assembly, as well as maintenance inspections. The design provides self- alignment capability to the bearing, some shaft misalignment can be tolerated. The contact angle is approximately 45° enabling the bearing to support high axial load and radial load up to 55% of axial load. They are suitable for relatively high speeds. The bearings have pressed steel cages or machined brass cages. Because of the large load capacity and self-aligning characteristics, Spherical roller thrust bearing is often used for injection molding machines, crane hooks and other large machines.

PRODUCT FEATURES
Unlike other thrust bearings in the sample, these bearings have a very high axial load capacity and can withstand several radial loads while being subjected to axial loads, but the radial loads must not exceed 55% of the axial load.
As long as the loads P and P0 do not exceed 0.05C0 and the shaft rotates, the bearings allow the centering angles listed in the table below.

Oil lubrication is generally used when in use.
Thrust tapered roller bearings can only bear one-way axial load and can limit the axial displacement of the bearing in one direction, so it can be used as one-way axial positioning. Compared with the thrust cylindrical roller bearing, the bearing capacity is large, the relative sliding is small, but the limit rotation speed is low.
